Rules for visiting the Upside Down House
When visiting the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE, there are a few things you need to do to make your visit to safe, enjoyable and exciting.
The following attractions are located on the territory of the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE (hereinafter - attractions):
- Upside Down House
- Upside Down Garage
- Tornado Tunnel
- Labyrinth of Mirrors
- Children's Playgrounds
- A maximum of 15 people may stay in the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE at any one time. However, the number of visitors should not exceed 10 persons in order to feel at ease in the building and to be able to take fun photos. This number will be adjusted by a member of staff at the entrance of the CIRCULATED HOUSE!
- When you enter the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE, you start your visit slowly. Get used to the feel of the sloping floor. The UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE is at a 7-degree dihedral slope and may cause you to feel unwell (dizzy, nauseous).
- Assess the level of the fixed objects in relation to your height to avoid collision with them.
- Food and drink must not be consumed IN THE UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE. A spilled drink or dropped food or food crumbs may cause you or another visitor to slip and fall.
- The items used in the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE are securely fastened. You are allowed to touch them to take exciting photos. But it is CATEGORICALLY FORBIDDEN to hang, claw or climb on them. Doing so may result, at best, in the removal of the vandal from the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE area, at worst in injury to the vandal or another visitor.
- If an accident occurs on the premises of the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE, please inform a member of staff immediately.
- If you notice any loose objects, please inform a member of staff at the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE immediately.
- Choose the right shoes to visit the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE. Shoes with slippery soles or high heels can make it difficult and unsafe to visit the attraction.
- As the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE is visited by many children, let's set an example for adults. Let's not smoke on the grounds of the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE. Smoking, use of alcohol and drugs are CATEGORICALLY PROHIBITED both in the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE and on its grounds.
- Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by their parents or an adult. Parents or a responsible adult must ensure that children follow the rules of the visit.
- The staff of the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE love pets! However, we don't know how each person will react to the animals. Therefore, please do not bring your pets into the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE territory.
- It is not possible to visit the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE with a pram or wheelchair, but you can definitely stay in the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE territory and take equally fun photos with the house facade in the background!!!
- The staff of the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings of visitors or for the safety of cars left in the parking lot.
- If we find a lost item, we will keep it for one month. Please contact one of the staff at the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE with information about lost or found items.
- By purchasing an entrance ticket for the visit of the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the "UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE VISIT CONDITIONS".
- For your safety and ours, CCTV is in place in the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE and throughout its grounds.
- 1. Visitors must treat the staff of the Upside Down House and other visitors with respect, as well as the equipment of the Upside Down grounds and facilities
- 2. The territory and objects of the Upside Down House are open to visitors during the specified hours - from 10.00-18.00 (for changes in opening hours, please follow us on our website www.apgrieztamaja.lv or on social networks)
- 3. Parking for visitors is free
- 4. There is a charge for visiting the Upside Down House and its facilities. Discounted tickets must be purchased with a document proving that the person is entitled to the discount
- 5. Upside Down House is a public place and can be photographed and filmed and used for publicity purposes
- 6. Photography and filming are allowed on the Upside Down House sites and in the territory, as well as publishing this material on social networks
- 7. No more than 15 people may stay on site at any one time
- 8. Please wipe your feet thoroughly when entering the facilities. When visiting the sites, we recommend that you wear appropriate footwear
- 9. When visiting the Mirror Maze, wear the gloves provided. Leave them in their designated place after the visit
- 10. We recommend that you start slowly when visiting the Upside Down House and the Inverted Garage, as the floor of the buildings is at a diagonal slope of 7 degrees and may cause you to feel unwell (dizziness, nausea)

- 12. Playground equipment for children under 15 years of age under adult supervision
- 13. Children's playground equipment for a maximum of 2 persons - children up to 15 years of age
- At the Upside Down house site it is prohibited:

- 15. Hang on, yank off or climb on objects attached to surfaces. You may touch objects on the objects to take exciting photos
- 16. To be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances, to smoke, consume alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances on the premises and in the facilities
- 17. They may be brought into the outdoor area, subject to safety and order rules, so as not to disturb other visitors and in agreement with the administration
- 18. Disturb other visitors
- 19. Build a fire or use appliances with an open or covered flame
- 20. Damage equipment and buildings, remove any items from the premises
- 21. In the event of an accident on the premises of the Upside Down House, immediately inform the staff
- 22. If any loose, damaged or unsafe object is noticed, please inform the staff of the Upside Down House immediately
- 23. Children under 12 years of age may visit the sites accompanied by an adult. The adult is responsible for the child's behaviour and state of health
- 24. The facilities are not accessible by pushchairs or wheelchairs, but they are allowed to enter and stay in the territory of the Upside Down House
- 25. Waste may only be disposed of in specially designated bins
- 26. The staff of the Upside Down House shall not be held responsible for lost or stolen belongings of visitors, as well as for the safety of the car left in the parking lot. Lost and found belongings of visitors are stored for one month. Please report lost or found items to the staff of the Upside Down House
- 27. By purchasing an entrance ticket to the Upside Down House, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions for visiting the facilities and grounds of the Upside Down House.
- 28. For the safety of visitors, staff and facilities, video surveillance is carried out
Minigolf course
- The numbering sequence of the lanes must be observed when playing
- Please be courteous to other miniature golfers
- Minigolf equipment is to be used only for its intended purpose
- Each player is financially responsible for any damage or loss of equipment
- Walking on the playing lanes is CATEGORICALLY PROHIBITED!
- Smoking, alcohol or other intoxicating substances are NOT permitted on the mini-golf course
- Pets are NOT allowed in the square!
